Charlotte Sletten Bjora

Charlotte Sletten Bjorå is professor in biosystematics and curator for the vascular plant herbarium at the Natural History Museum, University of Oslo, Norway. Her main research interests are systematics, taxonomy, nomenclature, conservation, speciation, and evolution in petaloid monocots. She has a keen interest in capacity building and has supervised more than 30 master and PhD students and is currently heading an exchange program with partners from Addis Abeba University, Kenyatta University, East African Herbarium, Makerere University, Dar es Salaam University, University of Zimbabwe, National Herbarium and Botanic Garden of Zimbabwe and University of Zululand.
