Abubakar Bello

Abubakar Bello is a Senior Lecturer at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, Nigeria, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle-Jena-Leipzig and the Institute of Biology, Department of Plant Evolution and Molecular Systematics, University of Leipzig, Germany. His research focuses on the taxonomy and systematics of the legume tribe Psoraleeae (Fabaceae). He is currently coordinating a checklist of the vascular plants of Nigeria. In addition to his academic work, he serves as the National Contact Point (NCP) for the Horizon EU Project in Nigeria.
