Amoako is a retired Research Scientist (Hydro-botanist / Environmental Ecologist) formerly with the CSIR Water Research Institute. Have over four decades working experience in Hydro-botanical, Ecological, Environmental, Invasive Species, Rheophytes, Waterweeds and Watershed Management and Research; Taught at the Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources (KNUST), Department of Plant and Environmental Biology (UG); Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture (CSIR-CCST) and undertaken Consultancies including on Biodiversity Assessments, Invasive Plants Management, Fisheries, Roads and Infrastructure, Mining, Health and Environmental Impact Assessments.
